Parks & Recreation Guide Redesign
Since 1988, High Point Creative has written copy and coordinated design
and production for the City of Arden Hills Parks & Recreation Guide.
The guide clearly provides information about community education classes
and events in Arden Hills. Before the redesign, the guide was printed in
two colors and mailed four times a year to households in Arden Hills and
area schools.
Working with design partner The Parent Company, we helped the City of
Arden Hills identify key goals for redesigning the recreation guide and
then implemented the new ideas in the Fall 2000 issue. The result: a
guide that is eye-catching, clearly organized and fast and fun to read.
The cover of the Parks & Recreation Guide, printed in four
colors, uses a seasonal theme to highlight upcoming classes and events
in Arden Hills.
The inside cover features a welcome message from the Director of Parks &
Recreation and a handy index.
“High Point does good work, so I don’t worry about the Recreation Guide
project,” said Michelle Olson, Recreation Program Supervisor at the City
of Arden Hills.
