How did High Point Creative get started?
Kate Huebsch (pronounced "Hipsh") founded the company in 1988 as a way to combine her love of writing with her strategic marketing sense.

How do you estimate a project?
We base our project estimates on the number of hours we believe the project will take. We also factor in the timing—how quickly you need it and what scheduling arrangements have to be made to accommodate the deadline. Finally, we factor in the value of the project based on market comparisons.

We welcome the opportunity to discuss pricing with you. If you have a particular budget you need to work with or a project cost in mind, we can work within your parameters as well.

How will you manage my project?
One High Point team member will be the designated creative lead on your project. That person, working with other High Point team members as needed, will identify your needs and recommend a communications solution. We then conduct the discovery needed to develop the creative platform (strategy) and write the content. As part of the creative process, we also partner with other communications professionals such as art directors, printers and Web developers to execute the strategy.

You see one High Point Creative bill for all the services, but you benefit from a team hand-picked based on your creative needs.

How do you handle billing?
To help assure your satisfaction with our services, this summarizes High Point Creative’s billing procedures. If you wish to make special arrangements, please ask.

Charges
Creative and consulting time is billed per project. Normal, everyday expenses such as parking and local travel are included. Other expenses such as long distance phone calls and delivery fees are billed at cost plus 20%.

All creative services can be delivered through High Point Creative or we will be happy to work with whomever you designate, i.e. designers, photographers, printers.

Estimates
After our initial discussion of a project, you will receive a written estimate of what we believe the assignment will cost. As long as the project scope does not vary from the original proposal, you can expect the bill to be as estimated.

If the project varies from the original proposal, we can either renegotiate or we can bill you at an hourly rate.

Terms
All bills are payable within 30 days of receipt. If an assignment extends beyond 60 days, we will issue interim billing for work completed to date.

Do you offer full service support?
Yes. We provide the creative strategy and copywriting, then partner with industry professionals to deliver the design, Web development, printing, etc. needed to see a project through completion.

What is High Point’s philosophy on client relationships?
We are known for having long-standing relationships delivering the best combination of talent, dependability and service for the greatest value. Several of our clients have called on us to support them for more 20 years.

Where are your offices?
High Point Creative is based in St. Paul, Minn.

Accounting functions are handled out of the Lake Office (main office) at 4585 Lake Avenue in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

Our Lake Office features a welcoming client meeting area. On particularly nice summer afternoons, meetings are often held on White Bear Lake on the pontoon boat. (Meetings for rush projects are held on the speed boat.)

High Point’s team members work from home offices and gather for weekly team meetings at the High Point Lake Office.

What is the recipe for High Point’s Spicy Spice?

Good news, Psychic Spice does not have MSG.
