High Point Project Success
2005 AWC Crystal Clarion Merit Award

In May 2005, High
Point Creative received a Crystal Clarion Merit Award from the Twin Cities
chapter of Women
in Communications for the Lawson Reporting Suite for Healthcare
Product Tour CD project.
“Receiving this award
was a pleasant surprise,” said Christina Nguyen, High Point project lead.
“We started with ideas and simple screen captures and turned them into a
very user-friendly demo. It’s rewarding to see an award come out of this
project.”
The team focused on
four main goals when creating the interactive CD:

Create a unique product tour that allows users to quickly learn about the
features and benefits of Lawson Reporting Suite.

Provide
users with multiple
ways of exploring this product. Users can navigate the short demo just
like a Web site, and read the text or listen to the voiceover dialog.

Effectively integrate
the new “It’s Time” theme into visuals and content, stressing how Lawson
solutions put time on their clients’ side.

Expose the marketplace
to this useful
software tool, raising awareness and ultimately increasing sales.
CDs were burned on mini discs and packaged in attractive cardboard
sleeves, showcasing Lawson’s industry-leading capabilities. The marketing
manager at Lawson said: “We have received very positive feedback on the
CDs and I have been very pleased with them. Thank you for your help along
the way—the demo turned out great!”
