Deluxe Request for Proposal

High Point Creative was called on by Deluxe to help respond to a 53-page check printing request for proposal (RFP) distributed by a large Southern regional financial institution. In addition to the proposal response, we created an interactive PowerPoint presentation to support the sales effort.

To develop content for the written proposal, we worked closely with several Deluxe associates to gather information, write and review copy drafts. The unique challenge of this project was to turn “boilerplate” company information into meaningful, actionable content that matched the bank’s stated goals and objectives. With the help of a dedicated, insightful account team, we produced a 180-page document that:

• Analyzed the bank’s past, current and future check program environment
• Identified areas for program and quality improvements
• Recommended appropriate solutions and resources required to achieve maximum results
• Provided a detailed implementation plan and pricing structure

Based on details created for the RFP, High Point Creative was able to create an engaging PowerPoint presentation that spoke specifically to stated objectives from the bank’s key decision makers.

The end result? Deluxe was awarded a contract, acquiring 100% of the bank’s business. According to Mark Byers, Corporate Account Manager at Deluxe, the bank appreciated the thorough, direct and honest approach represented throughout the RFP and PowerPoint presentation.
